   夏去秋至，在这凉爽的初秋，满怀着对新学期的期待，我们如期而至，相遇在美丽的校园。初秋的东方校园，因同学们的到来而充满了勃勃生机。 

        From summer to autumn, in this cool early autumn, full of expectations for the new term, we come as expected and meet in the beautiful campus. In the early autumn, the LOISS campus is full of vitality due to the arrival of students.

 

   为了以最佳状态迎接新学期，老师们从暑假期间就开始精心策划、认真筹备、扎实工作，为同学们的到来做好各项准备工作。

   In order to welcome the new semester at the best state, all the teachers of LOISS began to plan carefully，prepare seriously and work hard during the summer holiday to prepare for the arrival of students.

为了进一步帮助同学们尽快适应学校生活，帮助家长了解新学期各项教育教学工作安排，建立家校有效沟通、高效合作的平台，9月4日下午，新学期线上家长会如约而至。

In order to further help students adapt to school life as soon as possible, and help parents to understand the education and arrangements of teaching work in the new term, establish a platform for effective communication and cooperation between home and school, on the afternoon of September 4th, the parents" meeting online for the new term started as scheduled.

相关负责教师在会上对学校的办学理念、校纪校规和新学期开学准备和学习规划做了详细的解读；班主任老师就如何让新生更快更好地适应高中生活，怎样促进家校共育，毕业年级如何进行升学规划等方面和家长进行了沟通与交流，并鼓励家长做好表率，创建和谐的家庭氛围。

The relevant teachers talked about school"s philosophy, school rules and the new term preparation and the planning work; The homeroom teachers communicated with parents on how to make freshmen adapt to high school life faster and better, how to promote home-school education, and how to plan for graduation, encouraged parents to set a good example and create a harmonious family atmosphere.

开学第一课

The First Lesson of new school

开学第一周，各科老师都为同学们带来了精心准备的“开学第一课”。班主任老师带领同学们了解学校、学习校规、进行破冰活动、憧憬未来、制定规划。

In the first week of the school, all the subjects’ teachers prepared the “first lesson" carefully for the students. The homeroom teacher led the new students to understand the school, learned school rules, had ice breaking activities, looked forward to the future and made plans.

毕业年级班主任老师引导学生规划理想大学，通过实际行动来实现最终的梦想。学科老师们利用开学第一课带领同学们了解新学期学习计划和安排，组织各种小组活动，让同学们尽快进入默契配合的状态。艺术老师的课程介绍和才艺展示更是将同学们带入了对美好学习生活的憧憬。

   The Gr12 class teacher guided students to plan their ideal universities and realize their final dreams and encouraged them to put practical actions. Subject teachers used the first lesson to guide students to understand the study planning and arrangement of the new term, organized various group activities, so that students could get into a tacit cooperation state as soon as possible. The art teacher carried out the course introduction and talent show also brought students into the vision of a better learning life.
